Central Sierra Experience Mindfulness 4-H Project

2020-21 Program Year

This project is going to teach youth the wonderful world of mindfulness. Youth will explore many techniques of mindfulness such as yoga, meditation, and thoughtful reflection.

Open to ages 5 to 18

Meetings: Every Thursday from (TBA) at 4:00 p.m. (meetings are 75 minutes) via Zoom

Required Project Supplies:
Writing utensils
Paper to write/draw on
Computer/phone, video camera, microphone
Internet Access (Zoom and Google Classroom)

Recommended Project Supplies:
Comfortable clothing
Yoga mat/blanket/towel
Comfortable place/space to sit with minimal distractions/noise

Recommended Skills:
Reading and writing skills
Can work independently with minimal help
Capabilities to follow spoken and written direction
Abilities to responsibly use features of Zoom and Google Classroom
