Central Sierra Mindful Health 4-H Project
Open to ages 5 to 18, younger youth may need assistance with writing, reading, and projects.
This project is designed to for advanced-level youth who are interested in learning more about mental health, why it is important to overall well-being, and steps that promote more positive understanding and action. The following topics will be discussed and explored:
- What mental health means and its impact on those around us.
- The differences among some common, but serious mental health disorders.
- How society communicates about this issue in casual speech and in the media.
- Self-help and becoming part of the solution
Meetings: Every Thursday from September 10th thru October 15th at 4:00 p.m. (meeting are 120 minutes) via Zoom
