Open to ages 5 to 18, younger youth may need assistance with writing, reading, and projects.

This project is designed to for advanced-level youth who are interested in learning more about mental health, why it is important to overall well-being, and steps that promote more positive understanding and action. The following topics will be discussed and explored:

  • What mental health means and its impact on those around us.
  • The differences among some common, but serious mental health disorders.
  • How society communicates about this issue in casual speech and in the media.
  • Self-help and becoming part of the solution

Meetings: Every Thursday from September 24th thru November 5th at 4:00 p.m. (75 minutes meeting) via Zoom
