Central Sierra Beginning 4-H Project

Open to ages 5 to 18, younger youth may need assistance with writing, reading, and projects.

This project is designed to give first year members and parents an overview of the entire 4-H Youth Development Program and how it works. 

Meetings: Every Wednesday from September 7th thru October 28th at 4:00 p.m. (meeting are 45 minutes) via Zoom

Week Two: Project Overview: 4-H Projects 

Week Three: Presenting: 4-H Presentations 

Week Four: Presentation Day: What to Expect 

Week Four: Extra Credit: Presentations! 

Week Five: Recordkeeping: Personal Development Report & My 4-H Story 

Week Six: Recordkeeping: Annual Project Report & Leadership Development Report 

Week Seven: Awards: Benefits and Achievements of 4-H 

Week Eight: Project Wrap-Up: Looking back, project awards (Overall Most Outstanding, 100% Attendance, etc.) Virtual party with 4-H games!

Required Project Supplies:  
One (1) three ring 1” binder 
Writing utensils
Access to
Internet (Zoom and Google Classroom)

Each youth member will have the opportunity to give 4-H presentation virtually, which they may need additional supplies to complete.
