UCCE Cental Sierra Cavy 101 4-H Project

Open to ages 5 to 18, younger youth may need assistance with reading, writing and projects.

This project is designed to give members an overview of selecting, owning and caring for cavies.  Having a cavy is not required to participate in the project.

Meetings: Every other week via Zoom starting Wednesday September 30, 2020 at 5:30pm

Week One: Introduction

Week Two: Breeds and selection

Week Three: Care and handling

Week Four: Nutrition

Week Five: Reproduction

Week Six: Record Keeping

Required Project Materials:
Internet access and Zoom capability
Binder or folder to store your materials
Writing utensil
