Learn the basics of dehydrating your favorite fruits and vegetables. Find out about equipment to use, safety, testing for doneness, which foods produce the best results, and storing foods safely. Then take your dehydrated foods to the next level with vegetable powders, fruit and vegetable leathers, and soups in jars. Herbs, including seasoning mixes, are part of the class as well as jerky using a variety of flavorings with non-game meat.
