Event Details

No fat, low fat, no salt, watch the sugar; we’re constantly bombarded about how to eat healthier. One of the best ways to introduce healthy flavor into meals is to use herbs in our cooking. Herbs are easy to grow and preserve. Join UCCE Master Gardener Carolyn McMaster and Master Food Preserver Noreen Goff to explore the culinary herbs that grow well in our area, how to grow them, when to harvest and how to preserve them to use in meals throughout the year.
