Master Food Preserver Classes - Change of Venue

The remainder of the classes for September 16, 20, 23, 27 and 30 (including all of October as well) in El Dorado County have been moved to the Bethell-Delfino Agriculture Building at 311 Fair Lane in Placerville. Please check out the calendar entries below.

Our classes teach our community safe and healthy food preservation practices and are always up-to-date. The schedule is full of great classes such as:

El Dorado County Classes


Due to the Sand Fire we had to cancel some classes. Because canning tomatoes and making pickles are fundamental to home preserving we have managed to re-schedule the classes.

Our FREE public classes will be twice a week, Tuesdays and Saturdays, July through October. Download our 2014 schedule and join us!

Amador/Calaveras County Classes

Now in the Jackson and San Andreas areas, free food preservation classes!  Classes will be offered monthly throughout the year.  Download our 2014 class schedule and join us!
