Classes and events are offered throughout the year. This year we are proud to present many classes in collaboration with Master Gardeners. Classes are in various locations in Placerville and Cameron Park.
Our classes teach our community safe and healthy food preservation practices and are always up-to-date. The schedule is full of great classes such as:

2016 Pressure Canning Workshop
Does the thought of using a pressure canner scare you?
In this hands-on workshop, learn how a pressure canner works and the multiple safety features on modern canners. Science dictates why you must pressure can some foods. Learn why, which foods and how to safely process them. One of the items you can will be entered into the El Dorado County Fair!
