Outreach

The Master Food Preservers reach out to the community in many ways. Besides their Free Public Education classes on safe food preservation they are a fixture at the El Dorado County Fair, volunteer to work with the many 3rd grade children that come through the Farm Day event each year, have a hot line to answer questions and have a Speaker's Bureau who are available to speak to local groups on many food safety subjects.
