Interested in attending a free Master Food Preserver class tomorrow morning, July 7?
As mentioned in our June MFP eNewswletter, you have two options in the UCCE Central Sierra counties of El Dorado, Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne.
If you’re in the southern half of the region, come to the Calaveras Senior Center at 956 Mountain Ranch Road in San Andreas. This is the first class for the new Amador/Calaveras County Master Food Preservers, starting at 10 am. The topic is Jams & Jellies.
If you’re farther north, come to the El Dorado County UCCE office at 311 Fair Lane in Placerville. The first class of the season for this group of veteran Master Food Preservers also starts at 10 am. The topic in Placerville is Food Safety and Basic Water Bath Canning.
Both classes are free. No reservations are required; just show up early for a good seat!
